Kaitlyn

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Davis and I am in the Translational Life Science Technology (Applied Biotechnology) program offered by UMBC at USG. I have just started the first semester of my junior year after having received my Associate’s in Biological Science from the Montgomery College Rockville campus. I recently joined the USG Student Ambassador Program and I’m looking forward to getting to know other students while representing USG.

Beyond my college experience, I am a proud pet mom to an Australian Sheperd mix and a Holland lop rabbit. They are the best of friends and never fail to bring a smile to my face. I often can be found watching The Great British Bake Off with them by my side. Sometimes though I find myself getting so inspired that halfway through the episode, I start baking too. My go to recipes are chocolate chip cookies and muffins. Unfortunately, baked goods are packed with calories so I have had to up my exercise routine!

Over the pandemic, I started following one of Jillian Michaels workout DVDs. I find her to be incredibly scary and motivating. I hear USG has its own workout sessions so when I feel a little more sensitive, I plan to attend one of those instead. There is just so much that USG has offer and I cannot wait to experience it all, and share it with you, too!
