when I look back on this semester so far, wow seems to be the first word that pops into my head. There are so many different reasons for this, which I will further elaborate on.
-Firstly, time goes by so quickly that it’s really mind blowing to me. I Caen hardly believe that it is already nearing the end of April, and the sun is finally out. This shift in weather has made all the difference for my mood and outlook toward just about every aspect of my life.
-Wow to the fact that I have received my field placement for my senior year in the social work program here at Shady Grove. I am excited to say that I will be interning part time for the 2015-2016 academic year at the Forest Side assisted living home in Washington D.C. This is going to be a very unique and challenging experience, as I will be working with dementia patients. This is a part of the field that I have never been exposed to, and I tnk it is an appropriate next step in pursuing a career in social work.
-When I think about the fact that this year is coming to a close and I have just one more year of undergraduate school!
-A big wow to the fact that I have almost completed 1.5 years here at the Shady Grove campus!
All in all I’d have to say that this semester has been a great and busy one, and I look forward to finish g it off strongly.
Happy spring-embrace all the beauty that this weather is providing us with🌻🌹🌺
