Wait. No it can’t be true. Classes start on Monday? It feels like it was just yesterday when I was walking out of my last final thinking I’M FREE. I wasn’t exactly free though. I decided to take an online winter session class which was interesting. I thought that since all the exams were online I would totally be able to just flip through my book or notes and find the answers to all the questions. Come the first exam, that’s when I learned that I would not have time to finish every question if I did that.
Winter break was not completely filled with work for me though. I had time to enjoy the beautiful snow that we had. A couple of my friends and I had actually came to USG and tried to go sledding- which is not the best idea it’s a pretty flat campus. But, do you want to build a snowman? That’s the plan for the next time it snows this semester. And if you didn’t sing that while you were reading it you should go back and read it again.
I also learned how to make white chocolate M&M covered pretzels over break and have been eating them nonstop!
Break is over though and I know that because I have been getting numerous emails from different clubs on campus about planning for next semester. Student Council has already had a meeting and is planning on having a town hall soon. Student Event Board will be tabling from 9:30-11:30 am January 26th-29th in front of the library for people to sign up for International Night in March. Make sure to stop by and sign up. Everyone’s proactivity is really making me excited for my second semester here and I cannot wait to see how it plays out. Happy spring semester guys!
I am still shell shocked from last year’s winter arctic vortex nightmare. No snow please. The international night should be the best event ever, I have only heard amazing things! I can’t wait, sign me up.
Hopefully it’s not as bad this year! And yes, it is going to be amazing, love the enthusiasm!
