Swechchha

Hello everyone!

My name is Swechchha Shrestha. I am junior studying Information Science at University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). This is my first semester at USG.

I have lived in Montgomery County for seven years and graduated high school here. I earned my associate degree in Information Sciences and Systems at Montgomery College and I plan to graduate with my bachelor’s degree in Information Science at the end of the Spring 2025 semester. In future, I hope to work in the Information Technology (IT) field and help bridge the gap between software developers and users.

Some of my hobbies are spending time with family and friends, listening to music, drawing, playing UNO and volunteering. In my blogs, I intend to discuss various opportunities at USG, offer advice on how to study for different subjects and provide resources for mental health.

I am very excited to start my journey as a Student Blogger. I have never been involved in a extracurricular related to writing. I hope our blog readers can learn something new from my blog posts and I look forward to learning from the readers as well as my fellow bloggers!
