Everybody organizes their days differently, and I think it’s amazing to observe how various routines can motivate or speak to other people. Today, I’d like to give you a peek into one of my days, which is spent mostly on the USG campus.
the night before: I prefer to have things ready the night before since I believe that preparation is essential. This means selecting my outfit and preparing my food for the following day. I feel less rushed in the mornings when I start with a plan.
morning, refreshing start: I start my day at the gym. In addition to keeping me functioning, working out well also helps me start the day off on something positive. I then leave for my morning shift at work.
afternoon, classes and connections: After, I had a fast lunch. I go to my class, PSYC 382: Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM. One of my favorite classes, it provides insightful information related to my interests in mental health and child development.
I go into my duties as a USG Ambassador after class. Working with a fantastic team in the lobby of the “Center for Scholarships” is one of the joys of my job. I really like getting to know my fellow ambassadors, whether it’s during a fast snack or during activities on campus. I set an extra personal touch to my hectic schedule by sometimes stopping by the OIT office to say hello to buddies.
evening, productivity, and wind down: I spend at least 2.5 hours on my schoolwork after my ambassador duty is over. I can maintain my academic responsibilities because of this focused duration of time. At last, I go home to relax, think back on the day, and get ready for the next round.
This is a routine that keeps me inspired, productive, and connected to the opportunities and people around me, even though it’s just part of one of my days. Everybody has a unique schedule, and the best part is figuring out what suits you the best. By sharing my day, I hope to encourage you to think about your own life and perhaps try something different. I appreciate you joining me on this brief journey! :))
