O-M-G! have you heard of, or have been to The Wine Kichen on the Creek? It located right in downtown Frederick and it’s amazing! We went for Sunday brunch, and it did not disappoint at all. We chose to sit outside on their patio, the weather was perfect that day, if you can I definitely recommend trying it out. I started my morning off with an espresso martini that came with a chocolate covered gummy bear, delicious! Next for a starter we order their charcuterie board, and it was also deliciously amazing! The array of meats, cheeses, spreads, and fruits thoroughly complimented each other.

By the time we finished all the lovely charcuterie, we order a quiche to share due to how full we were. They switch up their quiche regularly on this particular day it was bacon and red pepper quiche, which of course was very yummy and filling. The atmosphere was nice and breezy. Now let’s talk about their wine selections. They offer wines by the glass, bottle, and even flights! I tried the bubbly flight and a flight of interesting white wines as well. Let’s start with the bubbly flight, the bubbly rose was probably my favorite of the free, but it was hard to choose if I’m being honest. The lambrusco was also nice, but not as sweet. The other flight I got consisted of three white wines, the Riesling was good. However, the Moschofilero from Greece, and Albarino from Spain I wanted to try, and they were probably some of the best wines I have had in a long time! I will definitely be back for more of these wines.

Afterwards we walked around downtown and went to some lovely shops. I really enjoyed the spices shop and the retro 60’s store; it reminded me of the fallout TV show decor 🙂 All in all this was a Sunday funday I’d love to repeat again! I wish everyone the best of luck finishing up their semester!
xoxo
