Hi, Everyone, and Happy Tuesday. Midterms have finally wrapped up for most, and Thanksgiving break starts in a week, so it’s time to unwind, take in the season change, and plan for upcoming fun activities!

Go for a walk or hike: Step into nature’s embrace this Thanksgiving with a rejuvenating hike or leisurely stroll. Whether you choose a scenic route or a quiet neighborhood path, the simple act of moving your body in nature can be a refreshing break from the holiday hustle. So, lace up your shoes, breathe in the crisp fall air, and savor the moments of serenity that a hike or walk can bring.

Plan a road trip: Plan a stress-free escape by selecting a nearby destination with scenic routes and charming stops. Whether it’s a nearby city or a different state, let the journey be the destination and see the joy of the open road this holiday season.

Hanging with family: Whether it’s sharing recipes with relatives, bantering with siblings/cousins, or simply enjoying the warmth of familial bonds, make this break a time to savor the true essence of togetherness. So, this holiday season, let’s embrace the joy of being surrounded by loved ones and express gratitude for the simple yet profound gift of family.

Hanging with friends: From laughter-filled game nights to heartwarming conversations by the fireplace. This break is a chance to appreciate the warmth of friendship and express gratitude for those bonds. So, share stories over a slice of pie or take a spontaneous adventure, cherishing the moments spent hanging with friends.

Pick up a new hobby: Whether trying your hand at painting, delving into the world of photography, or mastering the art of cooking, a break from routine provides the perfect opportunity to explore untapped passions.

Watch a movie/TV show: Stay in and watch some Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, or Tubi and get caught up with TV shows or watch the latest movies. I heard Five Nights of Freddys came out in theaters, and on Tuesdays in most theaters, there are discounts for students, FYI.

Catch up with schoolwork: With almost a month left this semester, take this break to catch up with schoolwork. Send those emails, ask questions, work on assignments, and read the syllabus. Let’s end this semester strong!
